That is all they would have to come out and say. And as long as it didn't sound like some complete bs I would give them props for doing that. Who knows they might fix some of these things and then they would boost sells and also gain a lot of respect.
Why on earth doesn't 2K allow senior OS'ers the chance to beta test their games???

Sounds like some folks assume they didn't know about these bugs/glitches. They discover most of this stuff. The just don't let it stop them from releasing their game "on time". I wish the gaming industry was regulated in a way that forced them to disclose known bugs since it's acceptable to knowingly sell broken games.
As I've gotten older, these bugs/glitches bother me more and more. From what I'm reading, I would be very disappointed with this game. Glad I held out.Shout out to The Watcher! Where you at bruh?Comment

I just don't get it. Sign up a select few reputable members for beta testing, let them work through the game 1-2 months before release and allow for feedback of any and all bugs required. Heck, we'd do this service for FREE.
I just do not understand. The franchise issues would've been spotted by the players on here within 15-20 minutes, and they'd have had a heads up. Now the multi-season modes are bungled and those of us who are on the fence are forced to wait things out.
Non-disclosure issues are a big reason why this kind of thing doesn't happen.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. The thing is - they did something similar with NFL2K1 on the Dreamcast, which was the first football game you could play on-line.
They actually contacted people who sent in those little registration cards, and then sent out beta copies of the game (you could only play on-line) and has us play the game and then log into a website and give our comments.
I still remember doing this. It was great. I actually started a thread on the DC board at UGO and started fielding questions about the game.
I understand the non-disclosure issue, but if they were smart, they would send a demo out to OSers where you could only play and test franchise mode. It would be a great way to do testing on the in-depth workings of franchise mode.Comment
