Anyone having problems witht he audio cutting out?

I noticed this first when in the menu screen and some of the songs would start to play and then stop. Then I go into a game and the lady starts talking about the game and then cuts off. Then I started another game and at the begining nothing is said and then all of a sudden Joe Morgan shows up in middle of a sentence. I guess I got a faulty disc or something. Has anyone had this problem?

The only sound problems I've had in this game were with a collision at home plate. Jon Miller must've REALLY enjoyed his call of it....because he repeated the same exact call over and over again until that half inning ended.

The only sound problems I've had in this game were with a collision at home plate. Jon Miller must've REALLY enjoyed his call of it....because he repeated the same exact call over and over again until that half inning ended.

LOl. I wish that was my only problem. I aslo noticed that the plastic wrapper had a made in mexico on it. Never seen it on the wrapper of agame before. I cna't even play this game. I'll have to take it back and get a new one.

FuMan, what type of audio connection do you have? If it's a toslink(optical audio) cable and it has been damaged or is running through a switch that could be causing the sound to cut out.

Audio is fine..i got a pretty nice home theater setup.. 3000 plus dollars invested into it and it really sounds good turned up with some nice bass going on

I love the ambient wind sound ...you can barely hear it but it mimic's the wind sound from a real tv baseball broadcast...sounds great.

One thing i will say is the audio presentation settings need some major adjusting of the sliders though.

The thing is I have no surround sound system. It is just the game. It isn't the Tv. It cut back on in the game I'm playing now and hasn't went out. I went into the audio settings in the dashboard. It was on Dolby. I put in on Digital. Started it up and worked fine then cut out. THen 2-3 innings in it cut back on. It has to be this disc. It's wierd no one else has had issues though.

On a side note this game looks amazing when you let the computer play each other. Best graphics I have seen in a sports game.

Would even be possible for this t never come back and it was just some wierd adiou hiccup. I am watching the hwole game play out and nothing has happend since the third. It is wierd.

So I guess now it is not a problem. I am still baffled by how the sound could just cut out and not come back in for awhile and the all of a sudden fix itself. Oh well. This game is purty.
