    So...Derek Jeter isn't a Yankee?

Playing my franchise today and my series against hte Yankees comes up and BAM...their entire lineup is screwed up. You have Matsui hitting second, Damon hitting 8th and in the DH spot. Rookies all over the place, and they have Royce Clayton at short with Jeter no where on the roster.

This is less than 2 weeks into the season and it's already messed up. I played Toronto and they somehow acquired Miguel Cabrera...

It would seem that the franchise mode is broken.

    Not happy.

Sadly, yeah, the Franchise mode is kinda ****ed.

You could turn off trades and that would help limit the crazy trades that they do.

However, the lineup thing usually is impossible to fix. However, it seems like it's mainly for LHP is when the line-ups just get crazy and wacked out.

Franchise is broken; everyone knows that; why yet another thread on the subject? And seriously, does it really matter all that much, what with the vastly improved gameplay? Think 'differently' and you might cheer up

This is old news. Everyone's been using the franchise fixes thread, trying to find a way around this. It's more likely that there isn't a way around it though.

In any event, I see no need for yet another thread dedicated to how badly the franchise mode is screwed up so I'm locking this.
