    How Can...

anybody say this game is bad. i have played baseball videogames since the early days of triple play and high heat and i have to say this is the best baseball game to date. the details, presentation, and graphics are unbelievable i mean common almost every player looks identical to their real life counterpart and i fell like i am watching a real game. i know there can be some slowdown and wierd glitches but the gameplay for me is top notch on all sides. i just played a great game on all-star default with the dodgers vs pirates. i lost 5-3 i had 12 hits they had 10 and an error. the game was very realistic and the only flaws were that the let the starter leave after 4 2/3 after giving up just 1 run and also i struck out 11 times but thats because i am not very good yet at hitting. only 1 hr on each side from furcal and jack wilson. excellent game and very underreviewed.

    Re: How Can...

I agree, I am a casual BB fan and I am loving this game. The slowdowns in the cut scenes do not bother me and I do not dig that far into any franchise mode to disappoint myself. This game is closer to a 9 in my eyes. And I have been playing BB games since Atari 2600 BB

      Re: How Can...

I think the general consensus is that the game plays very good baseball.

Some, if not few, people don't like the gameplay, which is a complete turn around from last years game when only few actually thought the game was bearable.

Most of the complaints seem to be about the fielding camera (which is undertstandable. I like the camera, but I agree there should have been more options) and franchise modes.

      Not many complaints about gameplay.

        I have ZERO complaints!!!!!!!!!

This game is the best baseball game I have played and I really wouldn't change a thing. Presentation is outstanding and the gameplay is by far top notch.

Compare this to last year's game and then I would like to hear how this game didn't make huge strides in less than a year!

The camera angles are a little bit hard to get used to at first. I didn't have much of a problem but I'm hearing a lot did. I think if this game was reviewed after a good month of play the score would be higher. To me this is one of the best baseball games if not the best that I've played. I would like to see them work next year on batting. I would like to see balls hit a bit more realistically.

you answered your question in your post. the cpu took their pitcher out in the 4th.

i think most people acknowledge that the game has made strides from last year. and is a pretty good game. however, the game an only be played in exhibition mode.

I love the game, however, no other camera options leaves a little to be desired. The ballparks are beautiful. Too bad you there aren't any cameras to show them off. I'd like to see a better fielding camera. If they take care of that and clean up the fielding itself, fix the franchise bugs and i'll be happy with 2k8.

Agreed. I thought the fielding camera would give me trouble when I first tried the demo, but I haven't had any problems with it at all, and I'm beginning to actually enjoy it.

I just had to say that. The trust is I am a fanboy of what ever game I like better if the Show is better to me then that will be my new fanboy. If not it will be 2k7. If I like them both then I will be boths fanboy! I am band wagon boy! On another note I agree about the camera I wish we had a high camera view, man that would be so great it would really show off teh Stadiums. I hope next year we get that!

I will say one thing I think the ball park are really beautiful. They look pretty accurate to me. I played at PNC Park and I was blown away. They had the river moving in the back ground. I just wish they had HR go into the water and have splash cam too. Like how the ball goes into the water in Tiger Woods golf! lol
