    High chopper troubles

The one thing I dread seeing coming at me in this game is a high chopper. Am I the only one having trouble judging them?

And does anyone know how to get infielders to put their hands up? When I press up on the right thumbstick my player dives forward. If I don't press anything the ball just goes over my players head.

    These are two good points.

I have trouble judging high choppers, but what you can possibly do is back up a little bit and let the ball come to you. Now, it might not always work when facing a speedster, but usually it's works out better.

And no clue how to get IFs to put their hands up.

If they are positioned right they'll put their hands up on their own.

There isn't a way to have them do it manually.

Yeah, even backing up is awkward because the players don't really backpedal for choppers, they just turn around and move like chickens without heads.

Like you said though, I think the only thing you can really do is let the ball come to you.....just stand there and let the ball come to you.

Diving out of the way is the best option anyways, you don’t want to get hurt.
