    Signing the Rocket.

Has anyone done this for less than his 19mil per asking price? Just wondering how low he can be gotten for. I am using the D-Rays and don't have that kind of cap room, but I could move some money around and clear up about 12-15 mil or so, just wondering if I might be able to get him.

Give it a shot and don't save if things go haywire. =P

House rule since you could sign him in real life (if he were to actually go to Tampa LOL) and then move the players once it's a done deal.

I am playing a franchise as the Cubs, and I offered him a contract for around 14.5 million and he said he would sign because he like Pinella's aggresive style. I did not sign him, and instead improved my rotation by trading Kerry Wood and Ted Lilly for Dontrelle Willis and a pitching prospect.

As the Jays he wanted 13.28 for 2 years. I passed, the cold Toronto air would have been to hard on his hips, and knees.

If you sign him, Seattle will offer Ichiro straight up for him.

wouldn't you rather have Clemens? Ichiro's contract is up after the season as well and besides, he is really not that great.
