    How many of you....

Use the IE for the opposing pitcher?
I was just wondering what some of your strategies might be.
Do you use it mainly for the hitters? or does it depend on who's on the mound?
I guess this could really go either way,I mean...do you try to get the advantage on the pitcher or the hitters.

I used to only use Inside Edge for the opposing hitters, but recently I started using it for opposing pitchers (depending on who's on the mound).

However, I have noticed lately that the areas the IE says the pitcher will pitch to are quite often wrong. The only real benefit to using IE for opposing pitchers is to see what kind of stuff the opposing pitcher has and how often he throws it.

I dunno, I just bought IE for the rival teams in my division, Dodgers and Padres.

I was under the impression the IE isn't for what the pitcher will throw EXACTLY, but more of the probability,in a certain situation.

Interesting.....so then I'm sure you probably don't have alot left over for any power hitters huh.

I bought the Twins and Tigers "packs" but all red and blue gets a little distracting after a while. I haven't really seen much of a difference yet, but after 19 games with each of them I'll make a better judgement.

Does that include the pitchers too?
I haven't started my franchise yet,and can't remember from last year if you were able to get the pitching as well, considering it costs alot more for them.

That IS what it is for (probability), but even still it's rarely ever in those spots. And actually, those spots sometimes distract me from where I'd instinctually swing.

It's cool and all, I guess ... but let's be honest: it's pretty damn cheesy. I mean, sure, guys can study film and scouting reports, but does the strike zone light up? Come on.

I don't use it at all.
