    A few notes

This may have been mentioned in other threads, so forgive me if thats the case.

    Note 1:

During one game I played, the trivia question on the center field board asked who the MVP of the 2006 World Baseball classic was... Daisuke Matsuzaka was one of the choices. So 2K sports can advertise his name on there but not in the game as a player?

    Note 2:

One very annoying "glitch" is when you have a guy on third with 2 outs....if you hit a groundball to the INF which results in a put out at first base, the runner from third will run home and is credited with a run scored. Thats horrible. Well I found that if you keep the "CPU assisted running" option OFF, the runner will stay put and it wont be a problem. This also helps with line drives where I have been noticing runners getting doubled up because the CPU starts the runner on contact and doesnt return them to the base until it's too late. With the option OFF, you have better control of the runner.

Now I am not sure how the runner on third with 2 outs thing works when the computer is at bat. I am sure the guy on third will run home on contact and will be credited with a run scored even though the batter never made it to first. It only happened when I was batting... has it happened to anyone when the CPU was batting?

Note 3: Just a question regarding the hit stick.. I understand you pull back on the right stick and let go when you want to swing.. Do I have to use the left stick in conjunction, like you do in classic mode, to produce a certain type of swing (i.e, upper cut, pull, etc.)??

Yep. 2k doesn't need a license for trivia. They do need one to place his likeness in the game, and since he hasn't appeared in an MLB game, he's not part of the MLBPA and thus can't have his likeness portrayed.

thats to bad about the runner scoring because i like using assited baserunning, you could however just hit the r trigger and make him go back to 3rd as you can still control the runners even if its on assisted, as for runners getting hung up between bases what i've noticed is if i force my runner to take an extra step lead i then have control over him and not the cpu anymore so you have to make him go back, then again i could be wrong.
