    Game Time (Real Time)

How long would you guys say it takes to complete an average 9 inning game? (I know extra innings would be longer but just forget about those for a minute :wink

I want to play 9 innings, enjoy the cutscenes without too much skipping from me.

I work from home and get an hour for lunch.

You reckon i can fit an average 9 inning game in there, enjoying the cuts, without overrunning?

How long is it taking you fellas to play complete games?

1 complete hour with all cutscenes for me. Sometimes it runs over that if you sit and watch each and every batter step in and step out.

Oh come on, you work from home and only give yourself an hour? Hell, I would make sure I get at least an hour and a half, maybe 2

        Re: Game Time (Real Time)

My games have been about an hour and half. I watch replays, but not player and inning highlights. I also watch the cutscenes. I work the counts, too, though, so that makes it a little longer. If you swing at everything it speeds the game up, but I try to play realistically. So, I'd give yourself about 90 minutes.

The nice thing is, there is a save feature for franchise games, so if you don't finish, you can save it and start back up from that inning later.

Save game feature is a gift from the gods, seriously...

Should be implemented in all games from here on out.

          Play nine!

1/2 hour for me but I am a hacker at the plate so that speeds things up.

You have to access it from the "options" menu it's at the bottom labeled "Save Game"...

This is how it works in exhibition mode so I assumed it works in franchise (though I haven't started mine yet)

Let me know if you see it in the franchise.

I am not sure about franchise, but I know it is in the Option menu in Season mode. I have used it many times.

Nah, i would do that, if it didnt mean my 360 being on for hours, heating up like an oven and the disc drive spinning like its about to take off!

Games have been running me around an hour without watching the in between pitches stuff and 2+ hours without clicking through anything. One thing I really like is the save game feature in franchise. This afternoon I was playing a game at Boston and I'm in the 6th...had to go run some errands with the wife and I was able to save it right at that point in the game. Wish all games had that.
