Perfect Game Until The Ninth W/Verlander

I am currently going into the the bottom of the 9th pitching a perfect game with Justin Verlander. Playing against the the Royals, Verlander has 11 strikeouts. Keep ya all posted. This will be the greatest moment in my gaming history. Wish me luck!

I did it guys!!!! Holy cow, what an awesome feeling. Struck out the side to get the perfect game to. My hands were so sweaty. What an awesome game!!

The ending is great to. Pudge came out to the mound and lifted Verlander in the air has the whole team celebrated with him at the mound. It was awesome. Pudge called one heck of a game. If anyone is wondering, I am using Heelfans sliders. I am overwhelmed with joy.

XBOX version- I had a perfect game with 1 out in the 8th inning with Kei Igawa pitching against the Angels, Bobby Abreu made a diving catch down the RF line to save the perfect game in the 7th, and the damn game froze! I know what your going to say, but I do have the xbox360 version, however my 3 sons are always playing it so I bought myself the xbox version, boy that sucked, I was all pumped up, damn xbox!

I had a 1 hit complete game shutout with Verlander. Would've been a perfect game if not for one stupid hit in the 5th

Well, my sense of accomplishment went down the drain last night when I looked at the sliders. For some reason, all AI sliders were adjusted to lower settings in regards to AI contact and power. I was scratching my head wondering why this happened. Then I noticed that I had HOT AND COLD TEAMS selected as ON. If no one knows, this will automatically adjust the AI sliders to the team you are playing based on if they are hot or cold. I was playing the Royals, and they were comming of a 3 game losing streak. Therefore, there AI sliders were set low. So my accomplishment was not done using a slider base that I consider challanging. What a bummer.

Does anyone use the the HOT AND COLD TEAMS set as ON?

congrats man. Ive only played 3 games so far so I havent even come close.

The closest ive ever come was perfect thru 7 with Buehrle in MVP baseball. I remember it got broken up in the 8th by Sammy Sosa.

Yeah..I have dymnamic difficulty and Hot cold teams off and the sliders still change. A fix that a lot of people mentioned on here is when you go into your setting and you move to the next set of settings it will ask you do you want to keep your changes just hit no. Not sure why this is but it happens even with it off.

Isn't throwing a perfect game really unrealistic to you guys? There was only one no hitter last year(at least that is the only one I remember) so doing this would not be likely.

What is a perfect game in baseball? Author Paul ****son in The New Baseball Dictionary (1999) describes it best with, "A no-hitter in which no opposing player reaches first base, either by a base hit, base on balls, hit batter, or fielding error; i.e., the pitcher or pitchers retire all twenty-seven (27) opposing batters in order."

                            Facts from Baseball Almanac.

Considering I have played around 2000 baseball games through my gaming days, and only achieved this once. I think my odds of doing this again are pretty slim to none.

Not sure what you are trying to get at with your post. Anyhow, I already addressed why the perfect game happened.
