    Silly things...

I just finished my third game of my season, Im using the Cleveland Indians, and our opening series was three games in Chicago. I do truly love the game, but I found something a little off-kilter with the realism.

In the third game, we played 16 innings. John Garland threw 13 innings, struck out 12 and gave up 7 hits, NONE after the 7th inning. Never seen that happen in real life.

    Any other oddities?

It could very well happen though. A lot of guys get in a groove, and become basically unhittable after they find their stride. That's how I was when I pitched. I'd give up some hits early on in the game, but once I got going, I'd be basically untouchable.

Some of my Reds pitchers are like that as well. Seems like their arms aren't loosened up until about 4-5 inning.

No pitcher is throwing 13 innings in one game.

that depends on if Dusty Baker is managing and if the player is younger then 25

Agree that in real life its impossible but on the game you do gotta think tho that most people dont sit around and take 15 to 20 pitches an inning. So by the 10th inning he could of possibly only threw 65 pitches, Then you gotta think well if real life was like that he could keep going and Thats what I guess would happened here.

:y4: Yeah... I didn't see the part bout 13 innings. Not out of the realm of possibility, but no pitcher is going to risk it.

And cbgatorade... that's me that you're talking about. I don't take ANY pitches, lol.

I'm just curious what you have pitcher fatigue at? I have lowered it to 35 but I still can't get the CPU to let a starter throw 100 pitches. I have seen a few guys go 90+, but usually they pull the starter around 75 which is in the 5th or 6th inning.

I have it set at 35, Im using the "VFR" sliders posted here. Might have just been a weird fluke, at least I'm hoping so,

It's not realistic, plain and simple. When consumers start demanding with their wallets, that this sort of stuff doesn't belong in the game, game makers will stop putting it in there.
