    BTP cam change for 2K8

I love the BTP cam in this game. To me, it's the best one of the three games that are out. But it could be better. The pitcher still seems to be too "close" whereas the batter is too "far away." I like how on TV it seems like they're pretty much the same distance away. Also, the <---> between the pitcher and batter is too far away as well. And then some height adjustments could be made as well. Anyway, with a quick 5-minute Photoshop of one of the POTD's, I came up with this:

Here's the original (using the same screen size... sorry):

I cut off the sides though (and some of the height), so just pretend like there is supposed to be more "screen" everywhere. But the angle and the POV are much more TV-like in my opinion. Actually, I could have made it better... but it's just a minor adjustment that I think would help a lot.

    What do you guys think?

Looks good, but I'm gonna need comparison shots to really notice the difference.

Heh, sorry about that. Just edited my first post. There you go.

I know people may think that this is almost no difference... that's because it is almost no difference. But just the slightest difference, to me, means a lot.

So does this mean you finally got a next gen system and the game?

Heh, nah. This just means that I was reminded how unauthentic the BTP cam was in 2K7 after watching Spring Training highlights on ESPN.

But I must say, I just think that it makes a big difference seeing the batter near the same size as the pitcher, etc. It just gives the game more "immersion" in a sense.
