I almost pitched my first no-hitter with Santana but blew it in the 8th inning, still got the shutout though...first game of my franchise.

I had one going into the 8th as well.. fly ball hit out to the warning track... Dunn Leaps... grabs the ball... SLAMS into the wall.. drops the ball. It was pretty funny... but it sucked as well.Twitter - WTF_OS

I got in a full 7 innings in with Brad Penny vs Colorado. I was thinking of this thread throughout the game too-dang-8th inning-one into the alley,bye bye no-hitter. But I did win in the bottom of the 9th with a solo HR by Nomar. Tell you what ,the Rockies pitcher-B.Kim-was a monster,struck me out 10 frickin' times! he was unhittable. They only replaced him because it was a pitcher's duel and they needed a run,which they didn't get. Penny had 8 strike outs too,he was also on fire. Question for anyone:have you ever had a game where the bats couldn't have been anymore asleep and then it comes down to the wire,or extra innings and then-that one weird hit or homer finishes the night there? this was my first. Those games are absolutely awesome. Check out my site in my sig... and go to the Houston games... INSANE. Hit a go ahead homer w/ Griffey in the 9th... then the bases got loaded in the bottom, with their 2, 3, and 4 hitters coming up. NO OUTS... it was crazy.Twitter - WTF_OS
