the best thing to do is raise the take ball options in the settings. put them between 75-80. i give up about 3-4 walks a game. you will notice the cpu take more pitches.

It only seems to fade when you play 2 player, but I want it to be off at all times. Do you know how to do that?

yeah not sure why, best thing to do to try and give up walks is raise take ball sliders even to the 50-60 range if you go to high it can be hard to strike out the cpu cause they won't swing at any bad pitches and use zone pitching with breakpoint and a high interface speed, i also let my catcher call the game, that helps with walking the cpu as well.

Er, why didn't Kush give us the option of classic pitching? Or zone hitting? Or cursor hitting? Or control of all teams in franchise? Or two-player in franchise? Or player editing and the ability to set hotdog prices?

Wait a minute... that last one is Madden.

i remember brinkman saying they were only concentrating on making a game that played well for this yr after the mess of 2k6, well they certainly have done that, in fact this is the most fun i've had playing a bb game, hopefully next yr they will have time to add a few of the things mentioned here like classic pitching etc.

Maybe, but if you remember MVP only had one method of pitching so I wouldn't hold my breath for any different pitching mechanism to be added.
