I went to a spring training game here in Az. today to watch the Brewers host the Diamondbacks. I went with a couple of friends and we got there about an hour early. As we walk up to the enterance I see a huge MLB2K7 bus and 4 Xbox 360's running MLB2K7. So one of my friend and I go to play the game and a couple of 2K sports employees walk up and tell us they are giving away free games at the bus.(about 20 feet away from the 360's). We put the controllers down and walked to the bus and they had JUST given away a Jeter jersey, and had one 2K sports jersey they were gonna give away. They ask a question of who won the world series last year, I answered and won the jersey.
Then one guy comes out of the bus with a stack of games, and starts asking which system. My buddy and I each got a game for our 360's and walked away after they claimed they had nothing left. We each said that's cool a free game, but it turned out to be MLB2K6!! No wonder it was free!! So we walk back to the 360's to play some 2K7 and were thinking of just ejecting the game and taking that copy and replace it with the 2K6 we just got, but we are honest people and did not. We did however go back to the bus and simply asked one guy if they could hook us up with the 2K7 as we showed him the 2K6's we got. He tells us to chill out a minute and wait until there was no one around as he went on the bus. I told him I would like a copy of 2K7 for the PS3 if he had one. About 5 minutes later he opens the bus door and taps the games to get our attention. He gave my friend a SEALED copy of MLB2K7 for his 360 and gave me a copy for my PS3 AND MY 360!! I got $120's worth of games for a $22 ticket to a ball game.
Now which one do I open and keep the PS3 or the 360?
Ooh and also there was a PS Escalade there with a TV in back running MLB 07 the Show for the PS2, on a PS3. I asked that guy if he had free copys and he said he only had demo's for the PS2, so I took one. He was shocked that we got FULL copies of MLB2K7 for free.
