You could also control how hard you want to throw. I thought it was just click the button once to move cursor horizontally and a second time to line it up vertically. Just discovered if you hold it down the first time it shrinks the target just like payoff pitching. Makes it even harder to pitch now, which is a good thing!

yeh zone pitch is the way to go!
much harder in my opinion...i found myself throwing meat pitches and wild ones with this mechanic(not to mention the increased number of walks), which would never happen with payoff pitching.

I think alot of people like payoff, its just that its easier to hit the spot at any time. I know i prefer it but its alot easier.

yeh thats the thing..

i really like payoff pitching..but its just too easy to hit the spots...evan with its slider speed at 100. wouldnt give any walks or wild pitches, not to mention meat pitches.

is this subjective or is zone pitching supposed to be more difficult? I like payoff pitching, but ill switch to zone if its more challenging. I am trying it out now and after about an inning i dont notice it being much more difficult than pay off pitching. It feels a little gimmicky too and its like you're playing rainbow six or something with the target lol.

I actually like payoff pitching with the breakpoint on, understanding how pitches break and juding where to spot teh break point to land in your location is pretty neat.

You need to try it with holding down the button so that the circle shrinks a bit. As your pitcher fatigues you should start having a lot harder problem hitting your spots.

Cool, Ill try that. What is harder, zone or zone 2? What is the difference between the two?

If you turn off vibration, the strike zone and raise cpu contact to 45, it's not that easy.
