    Backwards pitching

I find pitching success is completely backwards in this game. I give up WAY fewer runs by pitching in the middle of the plate. People mention giving up tons of hr's.. well I garuntee thats from pitching on the corners and the sides of the plate. Usually pitches that are left in the middle of the plate are mistakes in real life and thus hit hard and often. Yet in this game are more successful.

Thats not true on the ps3 version (and actually doubt its true on the 360 version). Whenever i hang one over the plate its tatooed.

Hmm must be not bet true because it happens every game for me on the 360. Some people don't notice or care and thats fine.. throw down the middle all game.. then play another and actually pitch. You'll see.

Yeah, I don't find this to be true at all.

most of the CPU Hr's against me are bad pitches that hang over the plate.

I live on the corners and seldom get hit out of the park unless i deserve it be becoming predictable.

There is SOME merit to this. I have been in a hurry before and started just pitching fastballs without moving the cursor (straight down the middle) and have struck out the side a couple of times doing this. But that was during an exhibition game and I didn't care what I was doing. I have no idea what would happen if I tried that all game though.

But I have seen something to this effect before.

I get rocked when I throw it right down the middle.

i think if you are always on the corners the cpu starts looking there so if you throw a few down the middle you can fool them for awhile till they catch on, at least thats how it feels to me.
