I am the Reds playing against the Cubs. I was down 4-2 in 8th inning with 1 out. I had 3 men on and Griffey at bat, Dempster was trying to pitch around to him and after a 3-1 count, Griffey slammed one out of the ballpark with a Grand Slam, I got up 6-4. 2 outs, end of inning. It was Dempster's second blown save in 2 games.
I used Weathers to try and close the game, he gave up a frickin 2 run homerun to Soriano to tie it up at 6-6. The game went into extra innings till 14th.
Scott Eyre was on the mound, Alex Gonzalez had a single. No outs. I used Harang to pitch hit for Coffey. He had a sac bunt to move Gonzalez to 2nd. One out. Freel came up. Worked Eyre to a 2-1 count. He swung one past DeRosa between 1st and 2nd and Gonzalez ran as hard as he could and he made it to the home plate with a Freel double.
7-6 victory in 14 innings!
