Ok im about tired of my sliders changing

on thier own in franchise. I playa couple games then next day i play and the sliders are whacked. Cant keep setting them im tired of it. Whats the deal with this?

yea, you probley have dynamic on, and they'll change according to how your doing in the game.

No i have it and hot cold teams off. Its not allways the same sliders. I am having excellent results with my pro slider settings but i can feel when they arent right and i go look in the game and sure enouph they are messed up. Not every game could be like the 3rd game or some times the next day when i starta new game in my franchise. I love this game more then any baseball game i have ever played and i have played everyone but lasorda. But this is frusterating to say the least. I hope they patch some of these things soon.

I noticed this yesterday... I have dynamic diff. and the hot and cold teams turned off. But yesterday I couldn't buy a hit to save my life, and I'm playing against a pitcher for the blue jays I have never heard of. He was pitching like Nolan Ryan... a perfect game going into the 8th. I paused looked at his stats he didn't have a pitch rated higher than a c-. When I went in the sliders some of my batting sliders were diff. and the AI pitch sliders were almost all maxed!
I changed them back and played another game, and they stuck. I'm not sure why they changed...

When you got play your next franchise game look at the top of the screen where the controller selection would be. If it says NO PROFILE, then your sliders might not be getting saved because of that. This happened to me, and I had to re-start. Now when I look at top I see my XL gamertag.

Are you changing your sliders every game? There's a problem when changing sliders where you have to answer "No" to the save slider question or else they reset. Check out this thread:

i thought i was the only one having this problem; it seems that in some cases, for no reason at all, some sliders do still change. i have closely followed the slider thread which explains how to get them to stick, and even though i make sure not to make or save any changes until i've cycled thru them all, sometimes, i will come back and still see that they have changed. not all, but a random few. for me its usually ai baserunning or ai contact, skill, and power sliders. i have never played with hot.cold teams or dynamic difficulty, and still this happens to me. i think that its just another glitch that randomly happens; just poor qt by 2k. still, the game is fun, just wish it wasn't so irritating with the little bugs and glitches it contains.

hmm, maybe this is what my problem is.

i'm doing a franchise with the phils and i simmed the first few games and i started out 2 - 6. and it sucks because i started 2 - 0 and decided to play a game. so i'm up 5 to 0 and the game gets called due to rain. so i then just simmed the whole weekend and i lost all 4 games.

ok, so now im 2 and 6 and i cant let this go any further. i'm starting a series with the mets in shea and for the love of god i've tried to win this one game at least 7 times now. pedros pitching and in most of the games i cant even touch him until like the 5th or 6th and then after a run or two they get him right outa there. his slider is absolutley untouchable.

and reyes and beltran are killing me too. reyes goes like 3 for 4 and hast two or three steals every time. and beltran does ok at the plate but is just killing me in the feild making shoe string catches and robbing hrs left and right. he does that silly catch with the jordan like pose every time the ball his hit to dead center.
i've gone as far as to purchase their entire teams inside edge reports but that doesnt help much and i think it hurts my pitching a little because i'm affraid to pitch in the red zones in certain situations.

now i'm not new to this game. i've had it since it was released and and have played many games. most of which have been heavily offensive and with me on the winning end. and ive palyed around with a few diferent franchises too and experimented with the dynamic difficulty and hot and cold teams with varied success.

it's just this one game on like april 11th that i cant win at all. they always beat me by one run and it's driving me crazy. i know i should just sim it and move on but its the principale of the thing.

i refuse to move on and do anything else with this game until i can win this one damn game.

My sliders change all the time too. not all, but some. i don't have dyn diff on and hot on. they are both off. i have my franchise and those sliders are alos different then what i save from the main screen once you turn the game on. i also say no allways to saving if i don't change anything. nothing works.

LOL. Sounds like TW golf a couple years ago. The program was set up so that every playoff played out exactly the same, regardless of how many times you replayed it. The CPU would take the same number of stokes everytime - it would even do things like hit the pin with a 6 iron on its second shot, over and over again like it was some sort of weird and spooky Groundhog Day golf tourney or something.
