2k7 has finally put mvp to bed

i am using this forum because it reflects how good 2k7 is. before this game came out, i was playing mvp 05( 07 with mod). i just wanted a baseball fix before 2k7 came out. i was enjoying mvp very much. the mod even made it that much better. but then once 2k7 was released, i stopped playing mvp for a little awhile, just to get a good feel for 2k7. baseball games you have to put a lot of time in to make an honest judgement of how it plays. now 3+ weeks after it's release, i have come to the conclusion that this game plays a great game of baseball, even with it's bugs. most other users on this forum agree. so just for curiousity, i wanted to compare mvp to 2k7. i figured i have a good grasp of both games by now. so i start playing mvp. i stopped in the 4th inning. i just wasn't enjoying it like i was before 2k7 came out. maybe the graphics have a lot to do with. but i don't think that is it because i wasn't complaining about them before. the gameplay didn't feel as good either. not to take anything away from mvp. it does a lot of things right. it's probably right up there as one of the best baseball games of all time. but we are now in next gen. last year it didn't feel like it was. this year, not only does it look like, it plays like it. so now i can uninstall mvp with no worry of going back to it. thank you 2k for making baseball feel and play like a true next-gen experience. i just hope they don't rest on their laurels. i am sure brinkman will not make that happen.

I agree. 2K7 still needs a little bit of tweaking, but all in all, it is finally a game with graphics and gameplay. Now, if they can only work on the CPU's managerial intelligence next year. Pitchers don't get pulled so easily when ahead 5-1 and the pitcher has only thrown 54 pitches.

Try cpu pitching stamina at 60. This setting has given me great results.
