    which SS should I get?

Im the Angels and Orlando Cabrera isnt cutting it. Im looking to dump him and Bartolo Colon for a SS. So far I could get Hanley Ramirez and Taylor Tankesly(sp). I want a young ss who is good now and will be good.

Hanley is about as good a young SS as you'll find (aside from Reyes obviously, and i'm assuming he is a little too good to pick up).

However, if you are looking to acquire a great shortstop without much pitching included in the package, Michael Young is IMO just about as good a player as their is in the game. He makes solid contact every single at bat, and has been tearing me apart in my Sox franchise. He isn't very young, but will tear it up for you.

I am assuming however you want to keep it realistic, so i'd go for Hanley. Still isn't very realistic, as the Marlins would never take on Colon and Cabrera's contract, but is more likely than dealing for Young.

I would say Young is more realistic to me. Florida has alot of good young pitching and clearly would not add that payroll. Texas is more likely to take on that salary and could use the pitcher more. I am not saying its likely in real life just that i think its more likely.

The CPU seems to ignore the potential for the current it seems. If i place say Marquis on the block i'll get offered Lincecum or Sanchez from SF for example. You'll do the deals you like. I just try to think would i do this if i was the other teams GM.

Well, either way, neither trade is realistic, but I guess what's the point of being COMPLETELY realistic in a video game? When I play franchises, I tend to make quite a few trades, as I have fun doing it. So either way I guess.
