    A couple of quick questions...

1-How do you perform a mound visit to help settle down a rattled pitcher? Can't seem to find it.

2-What does the "keep fielder in view" option actually do? I've played with it on and off but the camera looks the same both ways to me. Although I've noticed most people on this board say it's best to keep it off rather than on.

3-Which form of pitching do you prefer? Breakpoint or Pinpoint?

4-Using Classic Swing Batting, is there a way to do a contact swing and a power swing seperately? Or does hitting the A button sort of do both?

Any help would be appreciated. Having a good time with this game. It ain't perfect, but it's damn good IMO.

Re: A couple of quick questions...

    1. I was told that the LB button on the 360 activates a menu allowing you to chose mound visit from there. On the PS3 I gather it may be the L2 button since L1 brings up the lineup card, but havent tested this yet to verify.

    2. Im wondering the same thing, seems it would be more difficult with it off since your player may not be pictured on screen when you need to make a play on the ball, it may come down to personal preferance.

    3. Breakpoint all the way, Pinpoint makes it too easy to hit my marks, breakpoint atleast includes a little bit of thinking into where to align the cursor.

    4. On classic hitting, the A button does both, if you are going for a homerun just hold the stick up and down for groundballs. Havent heard if it makes any difference if you say hold the stick up and to the right to try and punch the ball opposite field with a lefty at the plate.

      1) Press the LB button and go up to the top part of your line up card, highlight your current pitcher and press the "A" button, choose Mound Visit from the list

      2) Alot of people turn this feature off because it makes fielding the ball more manageable. With it on, you are given a very odd angle that makes fielding a chore. I do notice a much different experience when this cam if off.

      3) I use Breakpoint and the Zone 2 interface. I find this combo gives me the biggest challenge. The default pitching interface is too easy to hit accuracy even with the difficulty turned up to 100

      4) You can use the left thumbstick to influence the type of hit you want while using the Classic swing interface. Pushing up is your upper cut swing to hit the ball deep. One word of caution though, even with your sliders related to power lowered it is still to easy to hit homeruns while using the classing swing. In one of my games (all power sliders down to zero) I hit 5 homeruns in a row, that is just rediculous. Keep in mind that I had the difficulty ramped up in effort to prevent an excess of homeruns. I've found that I can hit too many homeruns just using the "A" button alone (leaving the left thumbstick centered).

There are some slider sets on here for the swing stick, I'd reccommend using the swing stick with a good set of sliders. I played a game last night that I won 8-7 with only 1 homerun being hit. I also use a house rule when I'm playing, I'll use the batter's eye reticle and I try to predict the pitch location. The only time I will push up on the swing sting (power swing) is when I guess the pitch location correctly (shown by a red circle) or the CPU pitcher throws a bad pitch which causes a baseball icon to appear before the pitch. IN the game last night I guessed the pitch location maybe 4 or 5 times during the entire game, so I was able to user the power swing (right stick up) on those occasions. The CPU also threw maybe 2 or 3 mistake pitches where I could swing with power. The ironic thing was that my only homerun was hit with a normal swing stick (just release, no upward push) that was timed perfectly.

      Hope this helps
