Stamina - specifically in Franchise mode

Im finding my guys are really getting low on back to back to back games. I have been resting 3 or 4 for some games and only giving them pinch hits, but i find the AI fitness percentage always seems to be generally 5-10% higher than mine when i look at the pre game line ups.

Some of my guys are slipping to 70% or less stamina, i rest them for a game and they only come back up a bit.

Only 3 days off in April doesnt help!

Any ideas or solutions to this fellas? Anyone else seeing the same thing?

I don't know if this is true or not for sure, but I know when I sat out my guys and had them pinch hit, their stamina didnt get any higher for the next game. But when I leave them out for the whole game it jumps up pretty high usually.

Also , My team's stamina jumped up almost to 100 for everyone without an off day. It was pretty random to me.

I have found that at 85%, it takes about 1 day for a player to recover his stamina to full. So if you let it drain to under 70% don't expect one day to be enough to fully recover. The lower the stamina the longer it seems to take to recover. Try to keep the players at 80% or above, replace them with position players when they dip below that. I actually like that part of the game (giving key players a day off etc.)

As for the 100% spurt, it does seem to be random. I experieced this once during the season (whole team went up to close to 100%). It's either a random or morale related attributes boost (perhaps when you win many games in a row? who knows)

Yeah i do do that now and again.

Also changed my trainers priorities in staff settings slightly, so he focuses more on their daily fitness rather than injury prevention.

Also your trainer on your staff contributes to your players stamina or otherwise called in the game "durability". Go to your staff, look at your trainer, and find out what his durability is and what it is set at. That might help your players stamina.
