      Re: rain-shortened game

I had to play a double header when the first two games of my series vs. Boston got rained out. First game called for rain in the top of the 2nd. Second game they called in the bottom of the 1st.

      So awesome!

I used to go to around 10-15 Kernels games a year up until I moved to mpls last year. I miss those, the metrodome sucks bad!

I had four rain outs in ten games. Got kind of frustrating to be honest.

And I never yet gotten a game to resume after a delay. Has anyone? Mine are always postponed.

I've had a couple get postponed and a few end up resuming after the delay.

I've played over 30 games and have seen rain, but no delays at all yet.

Yes-With the Dodgers after 25 games I've had 2 rain delays and both games resumed. One was lengthy too, they mentioned the game could get called off. I really didn't see a difference for my pitcher though(stamina wise). Lowe got back out there and was throwing K's as usual. Still a good feature nonetheless.

I've had a couple games get delayed and resume. I also had a game called after 4 2/3 and I got a win for the game. Doesn't a game have to go at least 5 innings before it counts as a completed game?

Ive had about 3 games postponed all in the 1st inning for rain. Ive never had one resume. Ive also played 1 game where it rained from the 1st inning til the 6th without any stopages. Then it didnt rain for the finally 3 innings.

Its 5 innings, if the vistors are leading or 4 1/2 if the home team is leading

on my side, I had 2 DHs in 3 days once. Had a few games resume after a delay, and a few called, none official though. Anyone had a game called at the end of a series with it rescheduled later on in the season?

Yep the 3rd game of my series vs detroit at home got cancelled and they got it right. They rescheduled it as a double header in about a month when I played them again at home, rather than the series I have with them coming up next week when im in detroit.
