Saving game in progess. Help please. New user.

Can someone please tell me how to simply save a game in progress and come back to it later. I have looked through all of the options and cant see where it is possible. Thanks

I believe if you're playing an exhibtion game you would choose save game. If you're in a season you would save season and if in franchise you would choose save franchise. This should save your "half-played" game. There may be more to it. If so, I'm sure someone here will correct me and help you out.

I do not see that option. Only a quit game option on the 360 and you lose all of your data that way.

Hmmmmm. I'm at work now, so I don't have my 360 in front of me. I can't exactly picture the menus, but possibly "My 2K" and then "Load/Save"? That might be at the beginning of the game though. If no one can give you the info in the next hour or so, I'll post it when I get home.

Hit pause and go to options. In the options menu, I believe "save franchise" is the last one.

There is no option in Tournament mode so I hope it truely is there in the other modes and people aren't just speculating.

You can do this and it will do an "in game save" for you and allow you to continue the game later?

Yep. I tried it once and it worked well. In game saves are a must for any sports game IMO.

Yeah, it works wonderfully. I've used it many times in my season already.

Only if you have the foresight to save every single game you play in progress.
