warm up pitchers while batting in manager mode

anyone know how to warm up a pitcher while batting in manager mode? you can do it while pitching, but if you pinch hit for a pitcher, then you must bring in a cold releiver. am i missing it, or is this not an option?

While batting hit the start button then go to substitutions, warm up pitchers, and then just click on the pitcher you want to warm up.
By the way I hate the Greensburg Pirates!!!!!!!!!!

thanks ... i guess i did miss that. oh ... and i don't like the pirates either ... i went to nearby north decatur.

ok, the suggestion mention works during a regular game but not manager mode. in manager mode, when you press start, you just get the option of exiting the game or playing the game.

You can't warm up a pitcher in manager mode while your team is at bat easily. You have to press start and join the game, then wait for the game to load up, then select the pitcher you want to warm up, then exit the game and choose to manage the remainder. Way too many steps, especially when the option is available in manager mode while you are pitching. I guess no one asked this simple question during development.

not to mention that you have to wait for the game to load up while joining the game ... fantastic.
