    Bunting without getting beaned

Hi anyone else had this problem with bunting, its seems to happen no matter what the situation.
Try it out whether men are on base or not.
If the pitch is inside I get beaned.
Im screwed either way If i release bunt I get beaned . If I hold I GET BEANED AND A STRIKE.
Not trying to be cheap im just playing NL teams and sac or squeeze alot.
Anyone have a fix Im basically using NNNg07 sliders with classic Batting.
    Thanks in advance.

I actually haven't had this problem. I play the NL as well in my season, and whenever I set up the sac, I execute it pretty effectively. Maybe just odd coincidence that they're beaning you?

I do know what you are talking about, and that is a glitch. There are quite a few people who abuse it as well..

How do you pull it back without getting hit and getting the strike. I let go of triangle and it still gives me a strike. I have never been able take my base for getting hit.

Interesting, I'm 32 games into my dynasty mode and I sacrifice bunt pretty often, I've yet to get beaned on one *knock on wood*

Well I find myself swinging at everything. Come to think of it, I might need to slow the pitch speed down. I really don't feel like I have time to make my decision on the pitch.

Speaking of sac bunting. How do you bunt towards 1st or 3rd? I can't seem to put a bunt down anywhere but back to the pitcher and he throws to get the lead runner & sometimes for a dp. I use swing stick and try to use the right stick to bunt in a direction but it doesn't work.

Use the L/R triggers to move the bunt arrow that is on the ground when in the bunt position.

                    Re: Bunting without getting beaned

Sac bunting can be a pain because sometimes even when you aim it right down the 3rd base line, the pitcher fields it and throws like a Derek Jeter jump stop to second and it's VERY hard to beat that out without a) a good lead or b) a fast base runner.

But use the arrows to your advantage and bunt directionally.

                      Re: Bunting without getting beaned

Are you guys using the Sac Bunt command? Prior to setting up the bunt, press on the Right Stick and give your baserunner a lead of a step or two. When you put the bunt down, the baserunner will be very close the the bag and fielder will throw to first base nailing the batter.
