Hitters you seem to dominate with or suck with?

Any guys in your game that you just can't seem to hit with and others you just seem to kill the ball with?

For me I play as the Cardinals pretty much all the time, but for whatever reason I can't hit to save my life with David Eckstein and Scott Rolen. I'm playing a dynasty and through the first month of the season, 31 games in actually, both guys are below the Mendoza line, Eckstein hitting .202 with 0 HR and 2 RBI, while Rolen is hitting .202 with 7 HR and 16 RBI.

On the flipside of things I pretty much seem to hit everything with Juan Encarnacion and Albert Pujols. Encarnacion is hitting .389 with 16 HR and 31 RBI, hes leading the majors in homers 1 ahead of Hideki Matsui. Pujols is hitting .409 with 10 HR and 23 RBI, leading the majors in hits and 2nd in batting average behind Nomar who is hitting .412.

Anyone else having any similar slumps/surges and if so who are you doin it with?

I play with the Astros. Everett and Ausmus at the back end of my lineup just suck it up. Everett grounds into inning ending double plays consistently. Very frustrating.

I signed free agent Trot Nixon to my Jays team, and in his first two at-bats, he cranked homers on the first pitches he saw (high and inside). He hit another the next game too, 447 feet (longest I've hit so far).

Vernon Wells is another I find it really easy to hit with, but I guess that's not surprising.

I'm only hitting .243 with Alex Rios, and Zaun/Clayton don't do sh!t for me for the most part.

        Playing with the Cubs-

Derek Lee does awesome no matter what slider set I use
Soriano and Jacque Jones hit very well.

The rest of my lineup is in the .240-.290 range. What surprises me is I haven't found my swing when using Ramirez and he was the one bright spot for the Cubs last season.

Justin Morneau is a monster for me. In my Franchise he had a 49 game hitting streak and is leading the triple crown categories .430 25 HR 63 RBI halfway through June. ONline he hits about 1.5 HR's per game.

Im the Dodgers and Russell Martin is horrible, hitting just over .220 and cant ever come through in the clutch. I seem to hit really well with Andre Eithier and Luis Gonzalez, they both are hitting approx. .360 and seem to always come through in the clutch. Sometimes I honestly have thought about benching Martin for Lieberthal but cant force myself to do it in the end.

              Using the Pirates:

Jason Bay dominates. I had to edit his attributes because he was hitting way too many HR's. The rest of my team was doing about what they should do so I didn't want to edit the sliders.

I can't do much with Freddy Sanchez. He won the NL batting title last year, but stinks so far in my Pirates season. I think he's hitting .171 right now.

I can't hit with any of those guys. It seems like Martins swing is really strange, like he steps in the bucket and tries to pull everything. Unless the pitch is in, I can't hit with him. I strike out alot with Eithier too, so I moved him down in the lineup (the cpu has him hitting cleanup). Actually, I strike out alot period so maybe its just me lol.

For the 2nd straight 2k game, I can't hit with Damon. I also struggle with Cano and Posada. A-Rod is doing great, and Abreu leads the league in home runs and RBIs, and is batting over .400

I'm the Reds with a 4-6 record into the season. I think Phillips and Encarnacion are my best hitters so far, and they are using the whole field.

                    My lineup:
                    CF- Freel- .317 1 RBI 11 Runs
                    2B- Phillips- .382 1 HR 10 RBI 8 Runs
                    RF- Griffey- .310 3 HR 7 RBI 6 Runs
                    3B- Encarnacion- .439 1 HR 9 RBI 3 Runs
                    LF- Dunn- .233 2 HR 5 RBI 4 Runs
                    1B- Hatteberg- .206 1 RBI 1 Run
                    C- Ross- .219 1 HR 2 RBI 3 Runs
                    SS- Gonzalez- .207 1 RBI 3 Runs

Though, Gonzalez is improving after having zero hits through the first 5 games

Well I was about to say Barry Bonds, I was on a tear but now he's 1 for his last 13.

Another surprise is Benji Molina, they try to pitch him inside and he just wraps it down the line.

I strike out a ton also, I moved Eithier up to the 2-hole after trading Pierre to Minnesota and now have Furcal leading off. I got rid of Pierre, Kent and Tomko and pulled in Morneau and Cuddyer, they both were unhappy in Minnesota and demanding trades, the funny thing is they refused to take Billingsly in the deal, I figured Kent, Pierre and Billingsly would make more sense since there is a good prospect involved but they wouldnt even give me a 56 rated reliever for him so I kept him. The other thing to keep in mind is, Kent had progressed to a 91 at this point and was playing well, the Twins now have Pierre and Castillo batting 1-2, just like when they were both in Florida.

I dominate with J. Giambi and D. Jeter, R. Cano. I feel like I can hit anything with these guys. I can't hit for the life of me with A. Soriano!

I also suck with Martin, although anything inside I turn on - but that's far and few between. I think it's because of his batting stance.
