You don't find that sort of juvenile and cheesy as far as game programming goes? I mean c'mon... I've played 2K7 off and on for two weeks and have seen more player collisions in 14 days than I've seen in years of watching MLB.
That is not what I said. I said ive seen the EXACT thing you mention happen. IN ADDITION was the player collision.

I am not seeing "dime a dozen" collisions at all. I've seen 2 total. The play I mentioned, as well as one collision at the plate.

Methinks you have an agenda. If 2k7 isn't satisfying you, then by all means go back to the flawless Show.

Top Dog is right about seeing a player duck down to get out of the way of the throw. I have seen that as well. By the way, I have only had one collision so far and I got the game the day it came out.

Im on the fence about getting the game, and I browse the forums to get the good and the bad. But when i'm looking for good things about the games by checking certain topics, its always side railed by someone bashing the game over the same issue that I read about days ago in a negative forum topic.

Why can't positive forum topics be left positive and negative topics be left negative instead of this my game is better than yours bull****. Its frustrating and tired....SORRY JUST VENTING!!!!
I'm enjoying the game on the 360 immensely. When I first got the game, I tried it on default all star and it was darn near impossible. The CPU was taking just about every pitch I threw out of the yard and I could not get a strikeout to save my life.

I've adjusted some sliders with the All Star settings and I'm getting great games of baseball. I've had plenty of 8+ strikeout games with pitchers like Glavine, Maddux, Prior, Randy Johnson.

At first I was experiencing the same thing as others, where it seemed like the only runs I scored was on homeruns. But now I've gotten used to the swing stick and I'm spreading hits all over the field. In my last game against the Marlins, I had runners on 2nd and 3rd and hit a bases clearing double to the gap for my first 2 runs of the game. In another cool note from that game, I started Randy Johnson in humid 94 degree settings and was mowing down the Marlins. I had 8 k's thru 5, and after recording my first out of the 6th inning, Randy Johnson had to leave the game with a blister on his finger.

My suggestion is to take a team like Arizona, the Dodgers, or the Pirates and learn to hit with them. None of those teams have really great power and you'll learn to manufacture runs a lot quicker with a team like those.

Another example: this morning against the Yanks I loft a bloop to LF, and the camera cuts to the first base line with my runner pulling into first. And where's Giambi? Why, he's standing off-field near the first base coach's box, staring directly ahead into RF. Must have been some babe up there in the stands. Or maybe the guy's got a crush on Abreu...?
Like I said, I am exactly 40 games into my season and still havent had this happen one time. I do have the fielding aggression slider for the AI at 20, you mentioned you have yours at 30, try it at 20 and see what happens. I would suppose if you want to still see it, just not as much, you could try it at 25 but I hate seeing this so Im glad that I havent seen it yet.

Well, it's ironic that you making this plea for "positivity" when the original poster pretty much bashed the Show in order to make his point about 2k7. He didn't have to do that. So it wasn't like he just simply made positive comments about 2k7 and someone went out of their way to "siderail" the thread. Read the original post again.

Re: keep coming back for more

dude, are you playing the ps2 version? i have yet to see a collision also, but then again, like real baseball, i call them off. also with the duck down deal you saw on the show, while playing 2k i had a bloop hit fall to my outfield. my outfielder came up with it to fire home, pitcher was in the middle of the field, ducked down to allow the throw home, and then the collision, that was sweet! 2k put together a good game on the new gen, sure theres annoying little bugs and glitches, but so far nothing too bad to stop playing. i hate to say it, but this game plays better than even mvp baseball (the best game to ever hit the market) the show i havent played in two years cuz that game used to be horrible, not sure how it is now.

it shouldnt have been siderailed in the first place...

What I meant was in terms of THIS game. Im in a MLB2K7 forum, not a mlb the show forum... Its likely that someone who posts about how they like mlb2k7 would tell you why they picked this game over the other. And vice versa in an MLB th show forum
