I'm watching the Mets v Cards tonight (Which its 5-1 Mets right now, Go Mets) and Adam Kennedy comes up. Out of nowhere, like deja vu, Miller says verbatim, about Kennedy hitting 3 Hrs in a playoff game like he does in MLB2k7. I don't even think hes a real person at this point. that was just way to weird.

Yeah, when I watched the game I felt as if I was playing MLB2k7 because of the commentary.
Congrats on the season opening win Mets, you pounded our Cards pitchers.

i love wacthing a game with john and joe on the comentaries!
john just gives you that great baseball deeling...! i really enjoyed that little movie before the game about what opening day is about...


like you guys, i felt i was playiing , after played so many games of 2k7 it really felt strange to hear john and joe calling pitches and strikes, and not having to pull the right stick to step lol


also, scott, i tought the giants voice was that guy in mvp basebal??? i have never wacthed a giants game on fox sports bay area, so i dont knows whos is the giants play by play man, i just got surprized about u saying john miller was , casue i thought he only worked for espn nowdays.

Miller was the voice of the orioles until he was picked up by ESPN.

I told my girlfriend the same exact thing last night. I hate it on the game because he references it everytime I play the Cards. I play as the Stros so I see them every damn week. It gets old. I wish he would just stop it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My all-time favorite repeated comment is the third strike dropped ball and he references how it changed a world series around...here it at least once a game...

A little off topic, but did anyone else notice the abundance of "Windows" noises last night during the broadcast? They kept coming out my rear speakers on my 5.1. Sounded like the noise you get on error messages, but I think I also heard a windows startup in there.

I liked how John Miller called out Joe Morgan on the 3rd to 1st (Buzby) pickoff move being a balk and Morgan quickly changed the subject.

He is our radio and channel 2 guy. He does a lot of game except sundays becasue he does espn. One of the best guys in my opinion and it is a joy listening to him on the radio! Year after year!

He was the voice of the Orioles from 83-97 and thats when I lived in the area. I didn't know he did Giants games because I thought the just did ESPN now.

Yeah he does radio and some TV's. I do like it a lot. He is one of the best in my opinion.
