Re: Should I get this game (for 360)?

RENT IT! I did, brought it back and got my copy of another baseball game for the PC and DL'ed the 2007 MOD for it, and I am as happy as can be w/ it...

Oh and to be fair, I should add that I only play the game in franchise/GM modes. If you like to just play games and are not concerned the game lacking a good simulation in terms of franchise/GM play, then I would say it is worth IMO $40-$50...but I still wouldn't pay $60 for it. But again, this is just my opinion. Rent it and formulate your own.

No, I paid $10 actually. That's the only reason I bought it, because I rented it first and decided it wasn't worth purchasing.

Well, we certainly agree there, so I'm not sure what you're going on about here. That's exactly what I've been saying all along: the game is a HR fest that doesn't really represent the sport of MLB baseball. It's an arcade, flyball-happy, 'fun' video version, sure. And it sounds like you feel the same way.

I believe you said it was so HR happy it was almost unplayable a few weeks ago, but you are still playing it, so it must have some good, yes?

And where did you rent it from, b/c you have had it for a month now?

Also, what baseball game does emulate what you watch at a real park, b/c I want a copy ASAP?

yeah but it was more of a sim than MLB 2k7 is...

                the hitting system was awesome.

I love the demo but, like other baseball games of the past, will this game get old/boring quickly?

Also, do you have to play every single game in a season or can you have the computer sim some of them?

                  Thanks!!
if you don't like baseball, you shouldn't buy it. why would you buy a game of something that you don't like. It plays like baseball. If you like baseball, you will like it. It's a good game and when using correct sliders is one of the top 2 or 3 baseball game ever made as far as gameplay. It still has a ways to go, but it's much better than almost everything before it.
