Re: Do teams change stadiums?
Actually, ASB 05 not only had this, but it had future stadiums in it and teams would move into them down the road. For example, they had the new Busch stadium (it was called BP Stadium if I remember correctly) and in like 2009 the Cards would move into it. ASB 05 is hands down the best baseball game ever when it came to off the field stuff (and the details on the field)."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Re: Do teams change stadiums?
gosh although i love this game, i must admit 2k lack effort in some out field areas too...like the alternate uniforms...almost none team has their away alternate uniform...and those who have it might have it wrong...like the As , i never seen they unsing that black jersey they have for away alternate(extra)(i have no idea where 2k7 got that from), and yet tonight i wacthed them using their green aways uniforms, grey pants, green jeseys without that white trim 2k has for the home alternate (which doenst exist) and the all green hat.Last edited by brunnoce; 04-03-2007, 11:58 PM.---------------

I love ASB05. They had the rule 5 draft, mid season draft, and the minor league rule of bringing players up only 3 times.Actually, ASB 05 not only had this, but it had future stadiums in it and teams would move into them down the road. For example, they had the new Busch stadium (it was called BP Stadium if I remember correctly) and in like 2009 the Cards would move into it. I wont lie and say there werent issues in the gameplay, but they did everything else perfect.Comment

Yeah ASB was awesome my favorite baseball series until they had to stop making them, then I jumped over to MVP and it won me over, then I had to jump to 2k, hated 2k6 but 2k7 is a huge improvement and I expect even better things now in future versions.Favorite Teams:
NCAA- University of Illinois Fighting Illini
NFL- Cleveland Browns
MLB- St. Louis Cardinals
NBA- Boston Celtics
NHL- Chicago Blackhawks

I agree with everyone here, ASB was by far the greatest baseball game. in fact, i dont think i have actually finished a season since. it had EVERYTHING you could want. yeah, there were a few gameplay issues, but they were easily forgiven considering the depth of the franchise mode. and man, those graphics were stellar. in fact, i would argue that their stadium models are as good if not better than todays games. wish we could bring it back.Comment

Re: Do teams change stadiums?
This is what I have been saying the whole time. See the thread "Why is everyone saying franchise mode is ruined". I had a lot of great "rants" on there.
It was too bad the people I was arguing w/ (for lack of better words) were sooo hung up on MLB 2K7 and it's "improvements" that they did not want to acknowledge how lackluster this game is.
I loved ASB as well. There was the Rule 5, a real waiver ML option system, salary arbitration, and a draft in June.
Basically, everything that any baseball game w/ a so-called "Franchise Mode" should have. When you get features like that from a game which came out years ago on a lesser system it just makes you sooo damn frustrated that a game on the freakin 360 cannot implement this.
We can't even get a freakin take-out slide. WTF 2K!?Last edited by JBH3; 04-04-2007, 09:26 AM.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment
