How do you check swing in MLB 2k7?

I just got the game today, I don't normally ask noobish questions like this, but I've tried every possible thing and I have absolutely no idea how to check swing in this game.

Can someone please explain to me how you do so?

you are sapose to be able to pull back on the right stick to check swing but i have never been able to get it to work

Are you using classic or Swing Stick?

On Classic, you have to TAP lightly A.

This topic HAS been discussed before,all I was merely pointing out was...he stated he did a search and found nothing,but yet I did the same and found what he was looking for.
In the past I've seen mods lock threads based upon the fact that all that needed to be done was a search.
Excuse me for finding what he couldn't find.
