I just checked and I didn't receive an update so there doesn't appear to be a new one available.

There's an April 4th roster update. It still doesn't have Dice-K, Igawa, Dukes...I think it just updated free agents and whoever changed teams.

Too bad. I had a split seconds hope 2K might have got on the ball and fixed the ERA/BB and 60-Day DL bugs.

I'm pretty sure the ERA/BB/Error and 60 day DL bugs are in both versions.

While we're at it, how about correcting the bug where a ground rule double is only credited as a single?

This game has a lot of statistical bugs. I had the bug where a runner scored from third on a groundball where the runner was thrown out at 1st on the last out but the run still counted. That bug's been there for a long time. Its so annoying that 2k can't fix bugs that have lingered for years.

Unfortunately, that one IS hard to duplicate. I have never seen it in 35 or so games, and I have seen opposing runners cross home just prior to getting a force at 1st or second, so that bug may be either entirely random or extremely situation specific, triggerd by something other than a runner crossing home ahead of a force out. Along with the ground rule double, those are fairly rare situations. I am not justifying it, but I can sort of understand how that sort of problem could be hard to find and fix in 2K's accelerated development cycle, as opposed to the ERA/BB bug, for which I can think of no viable justification, rushed game or not. I'll bet big money there is a "switch" off where it should be on or a 0 where there should be a 1 in the code. As long as they documented the game, it should be incredibly simple to fix, yet so far nothing . . .
