Yankees 2007 schedule is a little off in MLB2k7

Im currently playing as the Yankees in my franchise and I am in my first year (2007) and noticed that in June im playing SD June 19th, 20th, and 21st. In real life the Yanks are scheduled to play the Rockies on those days. I know this bc i live in Colorado and have tickets for those games. just wanted to know if anyone else using the Yanks noticed this. Not a big deal but a little odd.

That is odd - meaning other teams' schedules are off as well (?) So why would they go to all the trouble of creating a different schedule? Seems like a waste of game development time.

Cincinnati's schedule is not even close to correct.

Yeah, The Pirates is off too...Nothing too major, but wrong days off..series starting on wrong days sometimes...I don't worry bout it too much though..not a biggie to me...I'm sure it is to some people, but the Franchise/GM mode has numerous bugs so thats just another one....Lineup/Injuries,Rain in Retractable Roof stadiums, No wind, now Sheduling. 2K needs to really scrap the Franchise/GM mode unless htey can fix it

I'll never understand how something like the season schedule can be wrong.

Wait til you get to 2008. Series starting on Saturdays, no new interleague opponents, Fridays off, etc etc

And more importantly why it can't be fixed with a simple download along with the opening day roster update. Unreal.

I wasn't on this game, but I worked with schedules on the MVP series. The official schedule is usually released by MLB in January -- game developers need it long before that, so MLB supplies us with a tentative schedule in late November or early December. A few dates usually get switched around before the schedule becomes set in stone.

Different files. You might see this offered on PC updates, not on consoles.

Oh, sorry for the confusion, but I didn't mean they should upload the schedule update in the same file as the roster.

What I'm saying is, it shouldn't be that hard to update a schedule. If they just got the opening day roster out, a couple weeks after the start of the season, then why couldn't they have made a schedule download by now? I figure, if they’re not working on any patches (and they very well could be), the least they could do is fix something like the schedule along with the rosters.

I like to play my videogame season along with the real season. Sounds lame, but it helps keep me into the game.

I just checked the Reds schedule and it is 100% correct, what are you talking about?

Again it is spot on for year 1 of my Reds season.
