...but ERA stats are WAY OFF in this game during franchise modes, because EVERY TIME a player who reached base on a walk scores, it is counted as an UNEARNED run.

Indeed, there are many threads about this and at this point Im not so sure that they will fix it this year either, although it would be nice if they would. I understand your frustration though. -

Yep, I noticed this as well. There are a lot of stat tracking bugs in this game. To add to it, I believe errors are counted as earned runs.
I'm just trying to enjoy it despite the stat problems. I wish 2K would patch these issues, but I've given up hope.Comment

The downside to this stat mishap is I actually walk guys but my pitchers ERA's are always pristine because of it. Last game Wolf walked 6 guys in 6 innings, did strikeout 13 but gave up 3 runs but none of them were earned since the players had all scored via a walk.Comment
