Chronic in-game freezing??

Every time i play a game, it will freeze randomly maybe 5 or 6 times per game. It can last anywhere from 5 seconds to 20 or so.....but it always picks back up. Has anyone else experienced this? The disc is brand new, no scratches, and no other games on my 360 freeze. Any ideas/suggestions?

Try and Exchange it if you can.

This has been a problem of the 2kSports games since the dreamcast. Freezing for no aparent reason.

Have you tried clearing your cache? It may just be some Jedi-Mind trick, but ever since i cleared my cache the game seems to be playing a little smoother...

It used to happen all the time for me. I noticed that it would always happen before my created player came up to bat. Now it rarely happens. I would give it some time and see if it gets better.

This is kinda dishonest on my part.....but i went to BlockBuster and rented the game....tried theirs, and got through a few games with no freezing. Needless to say.....they will be getting mine i return. Doesnt make a lot of sense, i guess the one i purchased just wasnt pressed correctly or something.
