Fielding Throw Intensity??

I noticed under VIP Tendencies - Fielding...that there is a Throw Intensity value. Is there a way to throw more aggressively when fielding?? I've been playing for a while now, but didn't think there was a difference.

I think that if you hold down the R trigger when you throw it is supposed to be a higher 'intensity' throw. I dont know if it works if you have fielder speedburst turned off in the options though.
