    Bonds in the Minors.....

I checked the San Francisco roster out of curiousity in my franchise and they have Barry Bonds in AAA. I thought maybe he's doing a rehab stint but he's been there for quite awhile.
Is there a bug if someone gets injured(not sure if he was) they send them to minors after they come off the DL and don't recall them back to the majors? I also wonder if they sent him down as perhaps his fielding attributes weren't as good as the guy they called up. Bonds was hitting fine, .300 2HR's 7 rbi's before they sent him down.
Anyone else had something like this?

Yes there's a bug if a player is on the 60 day DL they don't bring that player back up to the MLB roster.

There is a workaround somewhere on here. Hopefully someone can point you in the right direction.

Yeah I would like to know that also. Big papi has been out for 80 days and has been cleared to play. The only problem is is that he isnt on the MLB roster for the Sox anymore.

If you have force trades turned on then trade someone over to them for Bonds, trade Bonds back for the player taking his spot on the big league club and then trade that player back for your player and your done. This has worked nearly everytime, only time it didnt was with Detroit and they refused to play Sean Casey over Shelton, but I experienced the same thing with Bonds and it worked just fine.

Is this the un"Official Work Around"? I haven't started my franchise yet, so it sounds like i need to turn on "Force Trades".

Its the only way it can be done, make sure you have force trades on, it wont force every trade through but will give you the option to force any of them through that you want.

Hopefully next year 2K Sports fixes all these glitches.

On the franchise menu goto my2k7 then franchise settings then to management. You can turn it on there.

                          other things that I noticed:

-make sure if it is a quality player that should start on the team you are going to trade them to, they need to be on your MLB roster, not the minors, or they end up on their new teams minor's roster

-sometimes a team flat out refuses to place one of their best players on their MLB roster. I helped the player and team by forcing a trade for them. I then traded them to a 3rd team for the same quality type/position. I then traded this new player back to the team which did not want to play the other player. It kinda sucks but I don't like it when star players do not play because their team does not want them and there are so many trades anyway by other teams that I did not think it was a big deal.

What about merely turning off injuries!? What happens then...
