How do I climb the wall?

I can't figure it out I could have robbed alot of homeruns and foul balls in teh seats but everytime I go to rob a ball BANG my fielder just dives head first into the wall or teh ground. Am I doin something wrong here or what? can someone help me out please? thanx in advance I appreciate it!!PEACE1

Turn on the "In-Game Help" option in the settings menu. It will tell you when there is a homerun robbing opportunity as well as when to use the right analog stick. This will help you tremendously.

Further advice about this is that you will have to use the Right stick to trigger the wall climb much sooner that you would expect based on where your fielder is in relation to the wall. The overlay will come up well before you get to the wall. Like the Professional stated, move the right stick when prompted and the wall climbing animation will occur.

I think there's an option for "Game Tips" or something close to that. You might want to turn both of these on just to be on the safe side.

As soon as u see the icon appear to climb the wall Hold the right anolog stick up the whole time while running and when your guy gets to the wall he will climb, just make sure u are holding the right stick up the whole time. This also works the sameway with dives.
