Re: Whatever happened to the 360 version update?
You're correct. 2K never said they'd release an update. Just a bunch of speculation that 2K might release an update.....which looks like it won't happen now.
I guess 2K is taking the EA approach. MLB2K8 will be the update.Comment

I wouldn't go that far. They took a while to release a patch for NBA2K7. Baseball season, in reality, is only a month old. Be patient. I'm willing to bet we'll get a patch eventually, and no, that patch won't be MLB2K8.Comment

Re: Whatever happened to the 360 version update?
It's really the 'every game company approach', not just EA.
MLB 2K6 had just as many issues, and the only patch 2K released was to fix the freezing problem. As well, the NHL 2K series has had as many if not more issues than the MLB 2K series - including chronic freezing problems - and that game has never been patched. I'm guessing they patch their basketball game because a zillion people play it, whereas only a small handful play MLB, and only 3 Canadians and a guy in Detroit play NHL.
There will be no patch for MLB 2K7, I'm more than certain. The issues people talk about aren't problems that affect gameplay. 2K/Kush are not going to trouble themselves over a problem with ERA stats or whatever.Comment

Re: Whatever happened to the 360 version update?
Whenever you go to edit your sliders, you must cycle through the slider screens and it will ask if you wish to save, you must select "no" until you cycled through all the screens. Then, you may make changes in one of the screens (like AI Pitching). When you're done making the changes there, you must press "A" ("X for PS3) to confirm the changes.
If you reload the game, don't forget the first rule. When you enter the sliders menu again, you must cycle the screens and select "NO" on the popup before making any edits.Comment

Re: Whatever happened to the 360 version update?
If they do release a patch in the upcoming months, it will likely not help much. Many people have already given up on MLB2K7 due to some of these issues and once football games are released (which isn't that far away - Q3 for NCAA 2008), it will only get worse.Comment

I totally agree, and the patch did wonders for the game. I think fixing the stats bug is more important than what they actually fixed in NBA2k7(cpu subbing out star players and timeout issues).Comment
