yea it's crazy pitch. it is barely used anymore. Casey Fossum on the D-Rays uses it. His in real life is called the Fossum Flop

I won't play anyone online again if they choose El Duque. Alternating between fastballs and the eephus pitch makes for an impossible game. I think I struck out 20 times.

The online roster has been updated to remove the eephus from El Duque's arsenel, so you can now play those people once again.

I just had Zumaya learn it for my Tigers, 38 games into my franchise (got no email though), and my god, its crazy, he has a high rating with it and every time i have thrown it so far, no batter has got anywhere near it.

I kinda feel i dont wanna use it too much as it seems sort of unfair on the CPU, its that hard to hit.

i had a pitcher learn a forkball. but it is more like the eephus than a split finger it should be similar to. he throws it only at 65 mph, and the drop on it is insane. i can move the pitch cursor as high as i can on the screen, and if i pitch it will full effort it will bounce in the dirt. the crazy thing is that his rating for the pitch is only a 62 or so.

100+ mph fastball and a 50-60 mph eephus. Oh baby...is Zumaya unstoppable?

Damn right he is. Regularly hits 101 mph on the heater and the Eephus is, as i say, simply unhittable. Not only have i not had the CPU score a hit off it it yet, im yet to have them even CONNECT with it, they swing wildly and miss all the time.

Maybe i should move Zumaya to start, but possible stamina issues? Plus it would take away my ace reliever, hmmm, decisions....

Depends what year you are in. In all of my dynastys Zumaya eventually ends up into a starter but for the first couple years I have him in the bullpen.

IMO, next year they need to make the pitches faster. You cant go anything above 101 in this and Zumaya regularly hits 102, 103, etc and hit 107 once last year.
