    480p

So I decided to see what this setting would be like and all I can say is wow. The game runs so smooth with this setting, no slow ups at all. You do lose some of the wow in the graphics. But it does run a lot better. I set my 360 to 420p and set my 360 input cord to regular TV and not HDTV. I remember someone saying that it ran better.

Does the game actually look that much better with HDTV settings? I don't have an HDTV and have obviously only ever played it in 420p and think it's gorgeous. I guess that would also explain why I never understood the framerate issues people mentioned as mine has always been smooth...

Yeah it does look a lot better in 720p or 1080i. I think it is 480p right? Yeah there is no frame rate problem at all.

I have a 34 and it looks ok, there is something missing, but I can't put my finger on it. Try it and see what you think. Maybe it is just me, but it does run smooth and no slow downs at all.

I have mine set at 1080i also and it's gorgeous. My hdtv is also a widescreen and that only makes things that much more perty.

Runs like a dream. I sometimes think it could be the type of hdtv you have and how quick it is at turning frames over that may cause these issues. Just my opinion but I have read that somewhere.

I have a 32 inch Dell Widescreen lcd hdtv. I find the game to looking incredible and run about the same overall except for the normal "game" issues that sometime occur.

No problem with mine not being smooth either.

                        46" Samsung DLP

Now, there are choppy areas during replays and cut scenes, but it's pretty smooth for the most part.

Yeah that is where I have the problems too, but in 480p you don't see that that much at all. Though the graphics take a hit, the game has less slow ups even during replays.

It's just not worth it to me to downgrade the graphics that much. I've seen what it looks like when I accidentally changed the HDTV/TV switch when I first got the console. I could tell right away as the dashboard wasn't as crisp. It hasn't affected gameplay in MLB2K7 so I'm not too worried.

Yeah that is how I feel, when I tried it was late at night. lol I still like the graphics on HDTV. Now that I have some good sliders I have been having some great game.
