Freezing?

Anyone else experiencing freezing? It's happened a few times now and it's getting annoying.

Well I think I got it the worst. I am on my 73 game and I select the date and as usual the pop up screen that says play game or simulate and so on shows up. So I click play game goes to the next screen where you get to choose the uniform and then once I hit the button to continue to my line up, it freezes! It doesnt get past the uniform screen. I have tried everything, I even tried simulating to the end of the season, or to the next game, it freezes on that one day. The music stops the screen freezes. I’m stuck. And I know a while back on my 50th game or so I simulated to the end of the season and everything worked fine. But now on my 73rd game it freezes. I never had a problem with freezing before. The game only froze on me maybe 3 times throughout the 72 games I played but now I’m stuck. DAMN YOU 2K!!!! DAMN YOU!!!!

That's what happened to me, I played 2 or 3 games in my dynasty then poof. Well, I've learned to save after every game I guess.

ive had the franchise freezing problem where the game freezes on oct 1 and you cant advance to playoffs

not happy since i played the whole season and have to start a new game

11 games into my Braves GM career and now mine freezes. I thought it was my 360 but my other games play fine. It's because of 2K that I started purchasing the 2 dollar warranties from EB when I buy my games. That 14 day return policy never applies to me. When my games decide to take a crap on me, it's usually well after the 14 day return policy.

I'll be taking mine back tomorrow.

I was having freezing issues when I first got the game, it would freeze on me constantly. Someone on this board said to take the game out of the 360 before you went to play each time.
I tried this and it has not froze on me since. You do not have to take it out before each game just each day that you set down to play. I know this sounds crazy but it works for me. I was about to give up on this game because of the freezing when I first got it but it has not froze in over 2 months now.
By the way NBA 2K7 froze on me all the time too but it has not froze forever now either.
Again when you go to play turn on the 360, open it up, take out the game, and then put in back in, shut the disk holder, and play the game.

im glad that it's not just me.

i just got a 360 on wed. and the only game i have is mlb2k7. i thought my xbox was the culprit, but it turns out that a lot of people have freezing issues.

so i generally make sure to in game save after a few innings.

The sure sign something was wrong for me was when I noticed the internal fan inside my 360 would just go silent all of a sudden and never kick back on. I too thought it was my 360 initially. Then I popped in CHoops2k7, played a legacy game from beginning to end w/no problem. Popped in GRAW, played through a few mission w/no problem. Both times, the 360 sounded normal. Popped in MLB 2K7 again, and the same problem occurred again.

Returned it today for a new copy ($2 well spent for the warranty), resumed a game in my Braves GM career and was able to paste the Marlins 12-2 with no freezes.

IDK, it's something about ALL 2K games for as long as I can remember that have problems with freezing issues.

Mine will not allow me to get past the month of April in my Phillies dynasty, no matter if i sim or play.

It really sucks cause i have been reporting it on here and i really enjoy it.

I am gunna start a new one up with the Dodgers, Padres or the Mariners.

WTF!! I just pitched a 2 hit shutout in my franchise with Lester and the game freezes when the game ends.

One thing that cured my freezing was to either take the disk out after I am done playing, or if I left the disk in after I was done, to let it sit in the console a little before playing or to eject the disk then close the tray once I was ready to play.
