Is that during hte season you can really tell when you are playing a team that is struggling or you are playing a hot team.
For instance I played the Red Sox early in the year who had one a few games in a row (I am the Yankees) and they swept me 3 straight and scored around 6 runs per game. I played them later on in the year and they had lost a few games in a row and I totally dominated them. Their offense after killing me the last series was in a noticeable slump, they were swinging at balls out of the strike zone all game and I averaged about 8 strike outs a game in the series. The previous series they were much more patient at the plate and I could barely strike out 3 a game.
Just thought its cool that the AI players dont perform to their "ratings" throughout the course of the season every time you play them. They go into slumps too, just makes it feel more human like. I really havent noticed this in any other sport game.
