    Injuries in WSB

This could have been answered before, but I cannot find it anywhere on here.

Will players get injured during games you play this year or only while simming like last year?

Both. Not sure where I read it, maybe it was in the Q & A from the WSB producer.

        It wasn't in the Q & A. Forgot where I read it.

                Re: Injuries in WSB

I hope their not like the phatom injuries found in HH2003 and ASB 2003.

Quick Question, Why is creating an injury "engine" that somewhat reflects real life seemingly impossible for developers?? Not trying to start something here, but the Madden Injury "engine" seems pretty decent to me, maybe not as good as it could be, but its rare that you look at a replay and say "How did he break his arm when no one laid a hand on him?" Baseball injuries should be easier to both show and replecate frequency, you know, maybe a catcher who plays 8 straight games in 10 days may get cramps or back spasms. Run into a wall, maybe there is a 20% chance of you getting seriously hurt. Is that really to hard for them to do??

BTW, I hate when i read interviews with Developers and they say "(insert League Here) doesnt what us to show players getting hurt, or fighting (except hockey), or big hits (NFL)". If your creating a sim, your supposed to create the good and bad parts of the game, not just the good parts.

I worte this a while back i think insideDrive has the best injury model of any sports game.If other sports game would use something like that we would be headed in the right direction

Oh man, don't even get me started on Madden injuries. This year in one of my seasons, I had Garcia injured for 4 weeks, Garrison Hearst was injured for three weeks (two overlapping Garcia), and then, to top it off, Beasley was injured for a week, overlapping both of them!!!

Other than that one instance of bad luck though, I think Madden rocks. But I play with the injury slider set down a few notches now.
