There are a lot of good reasons for buying an XBox 360 (mainly because it's just a better gaming console) but I wouldn't call MLB 2K7 one of them, especially if you already have it for the PS3.
I'd give the game a solid B grade but there are still too many problems (too few foul balls, not enough hit variety, clumsy defensive controls, problematic franchise roster and lineup AI) to put the game on a par with 2K's great basketball games.
Don't get me wrong, it's a big improvement over last year and I've had some fun games, but it's not quite there yet. MLB 2K has the potential to be a killer sports franchise in the next year or two, though. The game is definitely going in the right direction.
