Pitching (Need Help)
I use All-Star difficulty, and I am having trouble pitching. Any time I throw a fastball anywhere in the strike zone the CPU seems to jack it out of the park. Last night I gave up 3 staright home runs to the Astros. If I go back to Pro difficulty I dominate the computer. I can hit fine on All-Star, but I tend to give up a ton of hits and 5 to 10 runs with most coming on home runs. Does anyone have any pitching tips or sliders to control CPU power? By the way, I use payoff/breakpoint pitching and swing stick for batting. Thanks.Tags: None -
Re: Pitching (Need Help)
I had that problem for a while until I started working the count more and threw more breaking pitches. You kind of just have to find what works against them, and then change it up every now and then.Fan of....

Re: Pitching (Need Help)
Yeah, pay attention to the % of time you throw each pitch. Don't become predictable! And work the inside and outside corner. LASTLY, DONT BE AFRAID TO THROW BALLS! You want to keep the batter guessing.Lol, people get enjoyment from their game in different ways. Why they enjoy one thing over another is not really important. --trobinson97Comment

Re: Pitching (Need Help)
If you neeed any help with sliders, there's a set in my signature. Make sure you're pitching effectively. I don't know what pitching interface you're using, but if it's one of the zones, you can hold the button down to make the pitch more effective.Let's Go Yankees!
