FP,

What sort of monetary system are you guys using? Is it a point system like ASB, or a real currency?

Thanks Alot,
You may have changed a lifetime ASB fans mind.

Fatpitcher, I know there won't be a Gamecube version this year (or ever probably) but do you know if any development work was done on the GC for WSB, for R&D purposes or any other reason? I wish Sega hadn't gotten all depressed about their GC sales. Now instead of being wrongly pigeonholed as the kiddie system it's being forced into that direction based on self-fulfilled prophecies.

Also, just out of curiousity, about how much time was added to make WSB for two consoles instead of one?

It's a point system. I think that the contract with the player's association doesn't allow the games to have a monetary system. So, it's not the developer's fault.

hey fat pitcher asnwer this question then i'll just wait and see.
last year WSB had nice swing animation but not real, the ball could hit certain areas of bat and not look real to the direction it went. is that still the case in 2k3?

Re: FatPitcher, a couple of WSB questions

I just wanted to know if 2 players can play a season together. Last year you could but you had to play the games in order which was a big pain unless you play with roommates. I just wanted to know if you had to play the days schedule of games in order and if 2 players can play the same season. Thanks. If this question has already been answered sorry for asking again. i haven't had the chance to view all 32 pages

Hi fat pitcher thank you for taking the time to answer all of our question.

1)I wae wndering if the animation was smooyher then last year cause when you were catching a ball, the player wouldnt react right away.

2) How does this years coaches will affect the gameplay?

3) Does a slider will available for no replays?

4) Do the player already know if he hit a bomb (walk at the plate)
thanks

1) I think I know what you're asking. To get a smooth catch-and-throw this year, you don't have to do it before the ball is caught. You can do it any time before when the throw animation is supposed to start and get the same thing to happen.

2) You'll see a list of ratings affected by coaches on the appropriate page in franchise mode. Pretty much all the important ones, I think, although the bonuses are not big enough to make a huge difference, maybe +/- 5% or so tops.

3) No

4) Only on HRs that are "no-doubt." On most of them you'll see the batter run like normal and the camera will be the normal fielding camera.
