Whenever I start a franchise or GM mode on PS2, I normally cut my highest paid players, that I know I can sign for less money, and I fire my manager, and hire a manager that appeals to them so I can save money for the off-season.
Now after I do this, during my franchise and season modes, it' seems like either my mailbox will break and not send me mail, my Hot/cold hitter section wont ever prodive a list of players...or the game wont give out montly player awards.
It also records any in-game triple I get...which RARELY happens anyway...as a double and not a triple. Which pisses me off!
I know I'm not cheating by doing this player thing, because you can resign players with 2+ year contracts.
When I play a game on exhibition or franchise or GM without doing these things, everything pretty much seems to work fine.
1. Is this a glitch within the ps2 version of the game, or do I need to exchange this for another copy?
1. Also, my game "skips" a couple times every game, like sometimes before a diving catch is made, or right before a pitch is released it will freeze for like not even a second, does this happen on all copies or is my copy screwed?
There are like no scratches on the game at all and my ps2 is fine...
